Depending on which HTMA testing lab you choose to work with, each lab has its own requirements in terms of credentials needed to open an account. Some labs have lower requirements than others.  If you choose to work with Trace Elements Inc (TEI), one of the pioneering global leaders in HTMA laboratory testing, most degrees in nutrition and medicine will suffice. However, there are times when practitioners in the wellness coaching field may not have the credentials necessary to obtain an account. In such cases, we've worked with many such practitioners who order the HTMA test through us on behalf of their clients.  In this scenario, the process is as follows:

1. the practitioner simply orders the test either through www.mineralsandhealth.com or through our sister site at www.htmatest.com.
2. The practitioner automatically receives the Lab Submittal form upon their order, which they then complete with their client's information.
3. The practitioner then emails the Lab Submittal form to us for Rick to sign, which then allows the practitioner to submit their client's hair sample to the lab. 
4. Once the hair sample is tested, the lab sends us the results, which we then email to the practitioner. The practitioner is then free to work with those results as they choose to with their client/patient. 

It is very important to note, that simply receiving the HTMA results (which do include an automated lab report) is often inadequate for properly addressing a patient's concerns, or understanding how the imbalances shown in the test results relate to symptoms.   This is where most HTMA "practitioners" fail.  They have not adequately studied mineral-based health or the application of HTMA, and instead rely on an automated report.  In order to maintain the integrity of HTMA application in clinical practice, we highly encourage anyone offering an HTMA service to receive comprehensive mineral-based health training first.  For this, we provide:

If we are ordering the basic HTMA test for you: 

There is a discounted practitioner rate of $125 (regular is $145 for the Profile 2 lab test).  For this discount, as it is a "bulk discount" for practitioners, your initial order needs to be for at least 4 tests ordered together.  After that, tests can be ordered one at a time or however you wish.  You, as a practitioner, are free to charge your clients whatever price you'd like, keeping the difference as your profit (explained further below).  For this rate, you would simply email us and we'll have an invoice sent to you at the discounted rate for the number of tests you're requesting. 

If we are ordering the basic HTMA test for you (Profile 1-charts only) AND you'd like Rick to create the written Personalized HTMA-Based Wellness Program report for each of your clients, the practitioner rate for this is $399 (rather than $495 if ordered separately at the regular price).  This provides the comprehensive report/program Rick writes for his clients, including specific protocol guidance.  This is basically a turn-key package for the practitioner as everything is explained step by step for the patient.  The practitioner can simply pass Rick's report on to their patient, or, if the practitioner wants to make adjustments to the protocol with the addition of their own remedies/suggestions, they are free to do so.  [Note: for this discount, as it is a "bulk discount" for practitioners, your initial order needs to be for at least 3 Tests+Programs ordered together.  After that, this package can be ordered one at a time or however you wish.  For this rate, you would simply email us and we'll have an invoice sent to you at the discounted rate for the number of tests you're requesting]. 

If you are simply wanting ongoing mentorship consultations:

Consultations are at the regular rate and can be purchased directly on the Order Page.  If you are wanting ongoing support, every 8th consultation is free if a package of 8 is purchased up front.  For example, if you'd like to have 8 x 30min consultations (which you can split up and use whenever / however you wish, it would be $840 (which is the cost of 7 sessions).  For this rate, you would simply email us and we'll have an invoice sent to you.

How You Price HTMA For Your Clients

You are free of course to charge whatever rates you wish to your clients. If, as an example, you were to charge $160 for the Basic HTMA Test (Profile 2) and you are submitting the sample to the lab using our account, your cost to us is $125 (or $112.50 if you are a Mineral Mastery student/graduate) and the balance is your profit.  Or, for example, if Rick is writing the Personalized Wellness Program in addition (which you can then pass on to your client), your cost to us is the $399 for the turn-key package (or just $359.10 for Mineral Mastery graduates) and what you charge your client beyond that is up to you (or perhaps you'll include it for your clients within a much larger program of your own).
